Who Am I?
Rahul Bhowmik Shuvo
I’m Rahul Shuvo, a passionate Software Developer with a focus on crafting modern, responsive, and performance-driven web applications. Originally from Bangladesh and currently based in Germany, I’m pursuing my Master's in High Integrity Systems at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
With several years of experience in fast-paced startup environments, I specialize in building user-focused frontend applications using technologies like React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and backend systems with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
I thrive on solving real-world problems, collaborating in cross-functional teams, and continuously learning and adapting to new technologies. One of my favorite personal projects is Square Connect — a 2-player online chess game featuring real-time chat and video functionality using Socket.IO and WebRTC. It was built to offer a seamless multiplayer experience without requiring authentication.

I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in High Integrity Systems at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences in Germany. This program equips me with advanced knowledge in building dependable, secure, and fault-tolerant software systems—crucial for industries such as aerospace, automotive, and critical infrastructure.
My academic journey is driven by a strong foundation in software engineering principles, combined with hands-on project work. I have practical experience developing scalable web applications, real-time communication systems, and productivity tools using modern technologies like React, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
With a background in startup environments, I bring a solution-oriented mindset to everything I do—whether it's frontend development, backend integration, or full-stack architecture. I'm passionate about solving real-world problems and constantly evolving as a developer in both academic and professional settings.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering at Metropolitan University, Sylhet, Bangladesh (2014–2019).
During my undergraduate years, I developed a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals—data structures, algorithms, software development, and database systems. I actively participated in competitive programming and represented my university in ICPC Bangladesh Regionals multiple times.
I also worked on academic and extracurricular projects that enhanced my problem-solving and teamwork skills. This period helped shape my mindset as a developer and laid the groundwork for my interest in building user-centric, scalable software applications.
